Things You Need to Know

The Camp Day

  • Morning drop off occurs from 8:30am - 8:45am

  • Daily programming takes place from 8:45am - 4:00pm

  • End of day pick-up is at 4:00pm

  • Extended Care Programs (registration only)
    - Breakfast Club 8:00am - 8:30am
    - After Camp Care 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Health & Safety

  • Low camper-to-staff ratios are maintained throughout the summer to ensure maximum supervision of all campers.

  • All staff are required to wear a camp shirt for easy identification.

  • All staff are trained in emergency procedures, problem-solving techniques, leadership, as well as many other camp related topics.

  • All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR.

  • Campers should come to camp with sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle.

Food

  • All campers are required to bring a lunch to camp each day. At H.A.C. we are a nut aware environment. Please ensure that no nuts or nut products come to camp. This includes Nutella, which is derived from hazelnuts or packaged food that says that it may contain traces of nuts.

  • The camp will provide a twice daily snack for all campers.

What To Wear

  • Campers should wear comfortable clothes that can get messy.

  • Shorts, t-shirts, running shoes and sandals are all appropriate camp wear. Campers will be required to have running shoes for both the dance and sports programs.

  • Camp t-shirts must be worn on any trips taken off camp property (LITs & CITs only)

Visitors' Day Arts Showcase

  • Each session there is a Visitors' Day Arts Showcase for family and friends that highlights the performing arts work of our campers. All campers are required to perform in the Arts Showcase as part of the camp program.

Camp Gear

  • Various items baring the camp logo are available for sale through the camp store. If you would like to purchase camp merchandise, please complete the merchandise order form found in your confirmation package or contact the camp office directly.
