Fees & Assistance

The following outlines Horizon Arts Camp’s Fee Schedule for 2010. Camp fees are based on a sliding scale according to the total household income and the number of people living in the home. It is the goal of Horizon Arts Camp to provide camp opportunities to families with various degrees of financial need.

To determine the camp fees owed please look down the left column to find the total number of persons in your family. Then follow across the row to the column of your family’s gross household income as indicated across the top. This is the fee per child per 3-week session.

Please note that proof of household income is required for both new and returning campers in the form of a pay stub, T4 statement, or income tax assessment.

FLAT FEES

Camp Fee for Household Incomes of $20,000 or less: $25.00
Camp Fee for Household Incomes of $68,001-$100,000: $575.00
Leader-in-Training (LIT) Program Fee (7 weeks): $350.00
Counsellor-in-Training (CIT) Program Fee (7 weeks): $175.00
Bus Transportation Fee (per session): $35.00
Breakfast Club Fee (per session): $20.00

Please note: You cannot register for both bus transportation and the Breakfast Club as programs run during the same time period.

Household Incomes over $100,000 should contact the camp to determine eligibility for the Camp. 

If the fees outlined below prohibit you from applying to send your child to camp, please call our office to discuss your situation. We would be pleased to speak with you: 416-558-0922. You may also apply for a subsidy on the camper application form. 

Early Bird & Sibling Discounts

Campers that submit their Application and Recommendation Form on or before April 30th will be eligible for an early bird discount of 10% off their registration fee. Please note that both forms must be in by this date.

In addition, the Camp will issue discounts for families who send more than one child to camp. The discount rate will be 5% for each additional siblings' registration.

Example:

Camper #1 - Full Registration Fee based on income

Camper #2 - Full Registration Fee minus 5% discount

Camper #3 - Full Registration Fee minus 5% discount

Sibling Discounts are available only until April 30, 2010

Please note that you cannot receive both the sibling and early bird discounts. Whichever amount is higher will be applicable.
